Video: New Footage Continues to Emerge from the National Assembly
New footage continues to be released from the National Assembly. It was recently reported that a verbal altercation occurred between Alen Simonyan and Seyran Ohanyan in parliament. A break was announced.
Journalists have published new videos from the National Assembly. It was noted that tensions flared in the parliament following the speech of the Secretary of the "Armenia" parliamentary faction, Artavik Minasyan. Minasyan stated that the government is proving that the values it proclaimed in the past are gradually and crudely being shattered. "By shattering and refusing, you are passing over everything," Minasyan said.
National Assembly President Alen Simonyan also reminded that the opposition did not attend their colleague Vigen Khachatryan's farewell ceremony. "I leave that on your conscience," he remarked.
In response to Artavik Minasyan's comments from the floor, he said, "Don't give me advice; read my post every day and be ashamed." Afterwards, Alen Simonyan countered a remark made by Seyran Ohanyan from the floor. "Mind your own life, your dignity, your life, and your actions. You will speak about this during the court session. You are you; do not dare to speak with the National Assembly President in that manner," he asserted.
