Iranian President Also Speaks with Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. According to the Kremlin's press service, the Iranian president expressed full support for the Russian leadership in light of the events of June 24.

The discussions included the prospects for further development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, as well as certain issues on the international agenda, including ensuring stability in the South Caucasus and the settlement of the Syrian crisis.

We previously reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also had a telephone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi.
