As the Situation Around Armenia and Artsakh Becomes Extremely Complicated, the National Assembly Switches to 'Scandalous Circus' Mode

Political analyst Tatev Hayrapetyan wrote on her Telegram channel: 'Every time the situation around Armenia and Artsakh becomes extremely complicated, when our existential issues escalate, the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia switches to 'scandalous circus' emergency broadcast mode. The goal is to occupy people's attention and prevent any meaningful discussions aimed at solutions regarding the situation, filling the public information space with absurdities and hiding behind mutual insults. It is very sad, I would say tragic, that at this critical juncture in our history, we have such an anti-state government and a compliant opposition working with them. The more time passes, the more you are convinced that the script for their show programs is being developed by joint efforts. These people do not know what a state is, do not understand dignity, or the elementary respect due to state institutions and their own citizens, and they are called to represent this state.'

It is noteworthy that during the sessions in the National Assembly's hall, government and opposition deputies began to argue and insult each other. Ruben Rubinyan urged them to stop the quarrel; however, the tension escalated during the speech of the head of the My Step faction, Hayk Konjoryan.
