Anti-Terrorism Operation Regime Lifted in Moscow and Moscow Region
Sergei Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow, has announced that all restrictions related to the implementation of the anti-terrorism operation regime have been lifted. The Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee has confirmed that the legal regime of the anti-terrorism operation has been canceled in Moscow and the Moscow region. This was reported by kommersant.ru.
It is important to note that the restrictions were imposed after Yevgeny Prigozhin led a "march for justice" towards Moscow on the evening of June 23, which Russian authorities characterized as an armed rebellion. The situation was resolved during the night of June 24. The company’s fighters have returned to field camps, and Yevgeny Prigozhin is expected to travel to Belarus. Russian authorities have committed to halting the criminal case against Yevgeny Prigozhin and will not pursue legal actions against participants of the rebellion.
