Video: Wagner Fighters Bid Farewell to Rostov Residents
A video has surfaced online showing Wagner fighters bidding farewell to the residents of Rostov. The fighters are loading their vehicles, gathering their belongings, ammunition, and equipment, and preparing to leave the streets of Rostov.
It is recalled that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has conducted negotiations with Yevgeny Prigozhin, with the consent of the Russian President, in which Prigozhin accepted Lukashenko's proposal to halt the Wagner movement in Russia and take measures to ease the tension.
This information has been reported by the press service of the Belarusian President. It is noted that there is currently a draft of an acceptable option for resolving the situation with Wagner, ensuring security guarantees for its fighters.
The press service of the Belarusian President reports that the negotiations lasted about one hour.
The leader of the Wagner private military group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has announced the group's withdrawal from the capital. “Wagner wanted to dissolve. On June 23, we embarked on a Justice march. In one day, we covered 200 kilometers towards Moscow. During this time, not a single drop of blood was shed by our fighters, and now the moment has come when blood could have been shed, so understanding that the full responsibility would fall on one of the sides, we turn our columns around and, according to plan, move in the opposite direction to the field camps,” Prigozhin said.
The Federal Security Service has launched a criminal case against Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner private military group, for inciting a military coup. Prigozhin accuses the Ministry of Defense of opening fire on his mercenaries. Late yesterday evening, he announced that he was initiating a “justice march” against the ministry, calling on Russians to join him.
