No Dairy Substitute Found in 'Pink Berry' Ice Creams, State Food Safety Inspection
The State Food Safety Inspection Body conducted a monitoring and control purchase of ice cream products produced and imported within the country throughout the sales networks of the Republic.
Samples of "Vanilla Ice Cream with Cookies" and "Ice Cream Cone" products produced by "Pink Berry" LLC were found to contain a dairy substitute.
Following tracing, inspectors from the Inspection Body's Kotayk Regional Center carried out a control measure at "Pink Berry" LLC.
As the specified products are made with cookie crumbs, which contain a dairy substitute, the sampling was conducted from the ice cream mix before the addition of cookie crumbs.
The examination did not find a dairy substitute in the ice cream mix. Thus, the "Vanilla Ice Cream with Cookies" and "Ice Cream Cone" products produced by "Pink Berry" LLC comply with the requirements stipulated by law.
