32-Year-Old Man Stabs 46-Year-Old Resident During Argument on Sevan-Yerevan Highway
During an argument that took place on the 58th kilometer of the Sevan-Yerevan highway, a 32-year-old man stabbed a 46-year-old resident. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The incident was reported to the hospital on June 22 at 8:00 PM. It was noted that a 46-year-old man from Yerevan sought medical assistance for a cut and puncture wound to his shoulder, claiming he had received the injury after falling in Sevan.
“It was revealed that the 46-year-old resident actually sustained the injury during an argument with a 32-year-old man from Geghama. The young man was found at one of the beaches of the Sevan peninsula on June 23 at 1:35 AM, arrested, and taken to the Sevan police station, where he confessed to stabbing the 46-year-old resident during the argument, and he threw the knife into the field by the mentioned road,” the statement said.
The Geghama man and the prepared documents have been submitted to the Sevan investigative department.
