VIDEO: The Kakhovka Reservoir No Longer Exists

The Kakhovka Reservoir ceased to exist following the explosion of a hydroelectric power station. This is confirmed by new satellite images.

“New satellite images confirm that the Kakhovka Reservoir no longer exists. Only the Dnieper River, a few tributaries, and several small lakes remain in the area,” wrote blogger WarMapper, sharing the satellite images of the reservoir from the Copernicus Sentinel service.

It is worth noting that earlier, the head of the Nikopol district administration, Yevgeny Yvtushenko, had indicated that due to the flooding of the Kakhovka Reservoir, much of the Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk region could be left without tap water.
