Ukraine Faces Strong Resistance During Counteroffensive, Says Deputy Defense Minister
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have encountered difficulties and strong resistance from the Russian army during their counteroffensive. This was stated by Anna Malyar, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
According to her, rapid successes should not be expected from the Ukrainian army's counteroffensive. “Gradually, we will move forward with difficulties, facing fierce resistance,” the deputy minister said, promising that the main strike is “still ahead.”
It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian army initiated its declared counteroffensive on June 4, in multiple directions.
