Turkey and Azerbaijan Conduct Joint Military Exercises Again

Turkish and Azerbaijani servicemen are conducting joint military exercises on Azerbaijani territory. According to Azerbaijani media reports, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has announced that the "Alpan-2023" joint exercises, involving personnel from the Azerbaijani Air Force and the Turkish Armed Forces, are being held in accordance with an approved plan.

According to the scenario of the exercises taking place in Azerbaijan, aviation assets have carried out missions to hit long-range and close-range targets, including air defense systems, command and control points, and concentrations of a simulated enemy, departing from the deployment airfields.

The aim of the exercises is to enhance the theoretical and practical skills of the personnel, improve the interaction of the units, and increase combat readiness.
