According to his post, Goryachev was killed during a counter-offensive initiated by Ukrainian forces in the Vremivka area of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The news of the general's death was confirmed by Vladimir Rogov, appointed by Moscow as the head of the Zaporizhzhia region.
