Fireworks Will Be Allowed Only on Holidays
The Permanent Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly is discussing the draft amendments to the "Licensing Law" in the second reading. This pertains to fireworks materials.
The author of the law, Sisak Gabrielyan, has informed that the explosive materials and equipment used in the mining industry may also be included, creating a need to classify them. He stated, "Regarding explosive production types, it is currently proposed that age threshold supervision be entrusted to local self-government bodies, while storage issues that relate to safety licensing requirements will be assigned to inspection bodies."
He emphasized that individuals under 18 will not be allowed to purchase explosive fireworks materials. "Once the law comes into effect, fireworks materials can be imported and used exclusively on holidays or during community and state events."
