Drones Shot Down in Moscow Region: Vorobyov
The authorities of the Moscow region have reported that drones were shot down in the area. This was reported by Говорит Москва.
Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow region, stated that two aircraft-type drones fell around 5:30 AM and 5:50 AM Moscow time while approaching the storage facilities of a military unit in the Naro-Fominsk district.
“Debris has been discovered, there are no casualties or destruction reported. Special services are involved, an inspection is underway, and the area is now cordoned off. I urge residents to remain calm,” Vorobyov wrote on his Telegram channel.
He did not specify the name of the unit, but a source from emergency services indicated that the Taman unit was involved.
The report also notes that another drone was shot down in the village of Lukino.
