Azerbaijan's Prosecutor's Office Transfers Case of Harutyun Hovagimyan and Karen Ghazaryan to Court
The Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office has completed its investigation and transferred the case of Armenian servicemen Harutyun Hovagimyan and Karen Ghazaryan, who are presented as members of an 'Armenian sabotage group,' to the court for serious crimes.
The Azerbaijani side accuses the Armenian servicemen of 'smuggling firearms, terrorism, and unlawfully crossing the border of Azerbaijan while inciting national, racial, social, and religious hatred.'
Harutyun Hovagimyan and Karen Ghazaryan went missing on May 26 while transporting food and water to combat positions in a truck. The Azerbaijani side was the first to officially report the incident, presenting the servicemen as saboteurs.
