Turkey and Azerbaijan Create Unified Air Command System
Turkey and Azerbaijan are jointly creating the HAKİM air command management system. This was announced by Haluk Gerger, the head of Turkey's defense industry department, as reported by Azerbaijani media.
He noted that the HAKİM management system is one of the most important programs implemented by the air forces of both nations. Gerger added that through the unified air command management system, the air forces of the two countries will be able to conduct joint operations and monitor Azerbaijan's airspace.
He emphasized that when this project is fully implemented, the unified airspace management zone will extend from the Aegean Sea to the Caspian Basin.
