Important Infrastructure Damaged in Lviv Due to Missile Strike
On Tuesday, June 20, a Russian attack involving "Shahed kamikaze" drones resulted in three strikes on an important facility in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. This was reported by the Ukrainian TSN television channel, referencing the Lviv regional military administration.
The drones struck the city around 5 a.m. during an airstrike. “The intermediate floor has been damaged, and windows have been shattered. A fire erupted, but there are no casualties or injuries,” stated Kozitsky.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi mentioned that after the shelling and the strike on the vital infrastructure, three trams in the city have changed their routes.
Later on June 20, Russia conducted a massive attack on Ukraine, with explosions reported in several regions. According to the General Staff, out of 35 Iranian "Shahed kamikaze" drones launched, air defense forces shot down 32. Kyiv officials stated that all about 20 aerial targets heading towards the capital had been destroyed.
