Biden on Blinken and Xi's Meeting: Extremely Good Work Done

U.S. President Joe Biden has stated after Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to China that Washington and Beijing are on the right track, according to American media reports.

“It doesn't matter how I feel. You know for yourselves that progress has been made,” Biden said in response to a reporter's question about whether he feels progress was made during Blinken's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“Blinken did an extremely good job, we are on the right track,” American media quotes the White House leader.

Earlier on Monday, Blinken met with Xi Jinping and the head of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China’s Foreign Affairs Office, Wang Yi.
