Casualties Reported in Belgorod Due to Shelling, Including a Child

The city district of Valuyski in Russia's Belgorod region is under shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces. This information was reported by regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on his Telegram channel.

"Preliminary data indicates that 7 people have been injured, including one child who has a fractured pelvis. A man has also sustained a closed head injury, along with three women, two of whom have shrapnel injuries and another girl who has a concussion. The condition of all the injured is moderate. Ambulance crews have transported them to the central regional hospital. Additionally, two more people sought medical assistance on their own; they have minor shrapnel injuries," Gladkov noted.

He also mentioned that the injured are receiving the necessary medical care.

The governor further informed that 5 apartment buildings and 4 private homes have been damaged. Windows have been shattered, and facades have been affected. "A utility building is on fire in one of the structures. Emergency services are on site, and data on the injuries is being clarified," Gladkov wrote.

It is noteworthy that Belgorod region in the Russian Federation is regularly subjected to shelling by Ukraine.
