Russia Uses 'Privet-82' Kamikaze Drone for the First Time in Ukraine

The 'Privet-82' kamikaze drone has successfully struck a position of the Ukrainian armed forces during its first combat application in the special operation zone. This was reported to TASS by the 'Oko' design bureau.

According to the source, the technology has been developed by specialists at the 'Oko' design bureau and features a unique property for the drone. 'The technology allows the operator, who is directly present at the application site, to intercept the drone launched from the rear and direct it to the target. The drone operates in radio silence mode, meaning it cannot be detected by the enemy's electronic reconnaissance. Subsequently, at the line of military engagement, the operator takes control using a panel and directs the drone to the target,' emphasized the representatives of 'Oko.'

The 'Privet-82' has a flight range of up to 30 km and a speed of up to 140 km/h. Its payload capacity is up to 5.5 kg.
