Video: Tornado Causes Fatalities and Injuries in Texas
A tornado that struck the city of Perrytown in northern Texas has resulted in the death of three individuals. This was reported to NBS by the local fire department chief, Paul Dotcher.
The number of injured ranges between 75 and 100 people. According to the National Weather Service, the tornado hit Perrytown on June 15th. The city has a population of approximately 8,500 residents.
The injured have been transported to local hospitals, with some in critical condition. The tornado caused significant damage primarily in the industrial section of the city, passing from the northwest to the southeast.
In total, seven tornadoes were recorded across Texas, Oklahoma, and Michigan in just the past day, according to reports.
