The U.S. State Department has commented on today’s gunfire from Azerbaijan in Yeraskh, which resulted in two injuries on the Armenian side.

“We are deeply concerned about the incident involving the injury of two employees of a company associated with the U.S. in Armenia due to Azerbaijani gunfire. We reiterate our call for restraint along the borders,” said Matthew Miller, spokesperson for the U.S. State Department.

Today, Azerbaijani gunfire directed at a metallurgical plant being constructed with foreign investments in Yeraskh resulted in injuries to two Indian nationals involved in the construction works, Muhammad Asif and Mirhasan Sahajan.
