TRAINING PHOTOS: Refresher Course in Vladikavkaz City. RA Ministry of Internal Affairs

Refresher course held in Vladikavkaz, Republic of North Ossetia, Russian Federation: The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports. According to the joint approval of the director of the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center and the director of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations on February 3, 2023, a training program for rescuers is being conducted from June 3 to June 27 in Vladikavkaz on the theme of "Preliminary Mountain Training, including up to 3rd grade in mountaineering." A total of 12 rescuers from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Rescue Service, as well as from the regional rescue departments of Gegharkunik, Lori, Shirak, Tavush, Ararat, and Syunik are participating in the course.

The training is held at the "TSEI" training and educational center in Vladikavkaz. The courses are conducted in both theoretical and practical phases. The theoretical part includes the peculiarities of working in mountainous terrains, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of rescuers conducting operations in mountain conditions. Greater emphasis is placed on practical exercises, which encompass working with mountaineering and mountain rescue equipment, traversing various mountain terrains, ensuring safety, and conducting search and rescue operations.
