Severe Hailstorm Hits Lori, Approximately 90% of Harvest Damaged in One Community
In Lori province, a recent hailstorm caused approximately 90% damage to the harvest in the administrative village of Arevashogh in the Spitak community. This was reported by the administrative head of Arevashogh, Perch Papikyan, during an interview with Aravot.am, who noted that the hail, which lasted about an hour, leveled both adjacent land plots and the harvest of fruits, vegetables, and sown fields.
According to the administrative leader, a commission has been formed to present a request to the regional municipality for potential compensation. The hailstorm that occurred after noon caused even more damage to the communities of the Spitak region.
