Erdogan Comments on Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations on Twitter

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a post on Twitter after returning from Azerbaijan, again emphasizing the motto "one nation, two states." This was reported by Ermenihaber.am.

He highlighted that Turkey and Azerbaijan occupy a strategic position between the East and the West. Praising the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood, Erdogan assured that they would deepen their cooperation in every sector, from trade to energy and from defense industry to transportation.

“Together with my brother, President Ilham Aliyev, we will continue to develop our relations in all areas hand in hand and heart to heart,” he said.

The Turkish leader also touched upon the issue of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, expressing confidence that the signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia would lead the region to much more prosperous conditions. “Along with my brother Ilham, we are fully coordinating and systematically implementing this dialogue process. I also believe that, by the will of Allah, we will soon see positive results from these interactions,” he added.
