IRGC Officer Killed in Confrontation with Criminals in Western Iran
An officer of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Sajjad Amiri, has been killed in a confrontation with armed elements in western Iran. This was reported by Tasnim, citing Ali Shahabani, the deputy governor for political affairs in Kermanshah province.
“One of the Basij officers, Sajjad Amiri, was killed during the clash between the IRGC fighters of Kermanshah and armed criminals,” he stated.
The deputy governor added that efforts are underway to apprehend the armed criminals involved.
