Armenian and Azerbaijani Emergency Response Units Participate in Joint Exercises in Georgia
Large-scale international exercises involving firefighters and rescuers from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova have commenced in Georgia. This was announced today by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The exercises will last until June 16 and are organized with the support of the European Union's expertise and technical assistance.
The aim of the exercises is to develop effective methods for combating forest fires and to coordinate joint actions of relevant services in the event of major natural disasters.
The exercises in Georgia will involve not only automotive technology but also aviation.
