Dozens of Chinese Military Aircraft Approached Taiwan

At least 24 military aircraft from the Chinese army have approached Taiwan's airspace. This information was reported on the website of the island's defense authority.

The publication states that in response, Taiwan's Air Force has deployed fighter jets, ships, and ground-based anti-aircraft missile systems to monitor the actions of the Chinese military.

It is worth noting that the situation around Taiwan escalated when former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited the island in August 2022. China, which considers the island to be part of its territory, condemned that visit, asserting that the US supports Taiwanese separatism.
