Pentagon Allocates $2.1 Billion in Military Aid to Ukraine

The United States is providing another package of military aid to Ukraine, this time amounting to $2.1 billion, the Pentagon announced on Friday.

The Pentagon's statement highlights that "the package, worth up to $2.1 billion, includes crucial air defense assistance as well as ammunition supplies." It further explains that the aid falls under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).

According to the Pentagon, the assistance will specifically include HAWK air defense systems, Puma drones, and 105 and 203 mm artillery shells. The United States will also transfer laser-guided munitions for rocket systems.
