We are examining the information provided by Azerbaijan regarding two Armenian servicemen: Yeghishe Kirakosyan
The information provided by Azerbaijan regarding the Armenian servicemen abducted from Armenian territory is currently under examination by the European Court of Human Rights. This was stated by Yeghishe Kirakosyan, the representative of Armenia on international legal issues, during a conversation with reporters, adding that the information has also been communicated to the relatives of the servicemen.
“At this moment, we are examining the information presented by Azerbaijan regarding two Armenian soldiers. We have also presented this information to their relatives. After our examination, we will submit our comments to the European Court by June 16, related to this information. We will do everything necessary to ensure the protection of our compatriots in all aspects,” said Kirakosyan.
Addressing the release of a video by Azerbaijani media featuring Armenian prisoners of war, Kirakosyan noted that there are legal issues concerning the perspectives presented in the video that was released on June 5. He emphasized that it could be utilized in legal proceedings if necessary.
