Mane Tандилян is the Candidate for Yerevan Mayor

The 'Living Country' party has confirmed its candidate for the position of Yerevan mayor for the upcoming city council elections, Mane Tandilyan, during a political council meeting. This was announced by Tigran Sahakyan, a member of the party's political council, at a press conference following the meeting.

According to him, the decision was based on their active communications with Yerevan residents over the past months, sociological surveys, and the opinions of party members. Sahakyan stated that they remain committed to their stance of actively preparing for and participating in all local government elections, in addition to national elections.

“We are confident that political forces at the local government level must present serious political programs, take responsibility, and, apart from addressing current operational issues, ensure real development in the communities,” Sahakyan said.

He emphasized that the nomination of Mane Tandilyan further underscores their determination not only to participate but also to win the Yerevan city council elections. “I assure you that our participation and victory in these elections is an irreversible declaration from us to drive radical and profound changes in the country,” he noted.

The Yerevan city council elections are scheduled to take place in September.
