Macron on Stabbing Incident in Eastern France

The leader of France, Emmanuel Macron, condemned the stabbing incident that occurred in eastern France, which resulted in the deaths of children and adults. He shared his thoughts on Twitter.

“An unprecedented cowardly attack this morning in the park of Annecy. Children and adults are fighting for their lives. The country is shocked. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims,” wrote Macron.

It has been noted that the assailant has been apprehended by the police. According to law enforcement, the attacker is a Syrian who has sought political asylum in France.

It is reported that at least seven people, including six children, were stabbed in the attack that took place in the eastern French city of Annecy.
