Russian Pilots Conduct Training Flights in MiG-29s in Armenia
In Armenia, pilots of the MiG-29 multi-role fighters from the operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Southern Military District have performed complex and advanced aerobatic elements during training flights. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Southern Military District.
"At different altitudes, during night and daytime, the crews conducted flights along specified routes involving combat recoveries, horizontal 'barrel rolls', turns, steep angle maneuvers, and other elements," the statement said.
More than 120 servicemen participated in the training flights, alongside approximately 20 units of military and special equipment, including multi-role MiG-29 fighters.
The press service also reported that medical specialists from the medical service of the Southern Military District would participate in special training for medical support in Armenia. "In field conditions, the servicemen will practice the deployment of field hospitals, evacuation of the wounded from combat vehicles, trenches, and bunkers, and conduct actions for providing medical assistance and transportation using rescue equipment and modern medical devices to immobilize body parts," the press release noted.
Additionally, the servicemen will also perform tasks related to dosimetric control, develop sanitary transport operations, and prepare hospital medical personnel to work with conditional casualties and sick servicemen on medical triage platforms.
