VIDEO: New Footage from Kherson - 1328 People Evacuated

Following the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, several settlements have been flooded. Media outlets are regularly releasing new footage and information regarding the situation. RT reports that already 71 homes have been inundated.

The evacuation is ongoing as water levels continue to rise rapidly. A total of 1328 people have been evacuated, with 1200 of them coming from the micro-district of Kherson Island.

It is worth noting that today, June 6, the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station located in the Kherson region collapsed. The waters from the damaged power station have flooded residential areas in the Kherson region. The damage to the power station has caused the water level of the Dnieper River to rise.

In the footage, reportedly taken in the Kherson Island area, ducks can be seen swimming through the streets.
