Interagency Group Established to Discuss New Nuclear Energy Block Construction in Armenia
By the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, an interagency working group will be created to discuss issues related to the construction of a new nuclear energy block in Armenia.
"The working group is also established to analyze the feasibility of deploying small modular reactors, as well as to discuss the selection of necessary technologies and to determine the sequence of subsequent steps. This decision also confirms the composition of the group," the decision states.
The head of the interagency working group is required to report to the Prime Minister's Office within two months regarding the work accomplished.
