We Have an Egg Problem in Our Country: Prigozhin
Evgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner Group, stated that prisoners should be taken, even if the "terrorists" are willing to return them. He made these comments in response to Belgorod Region head Vyacheslav Gladkov's reply to the proposal to retrieve captured Russians from the "Russian Volunteer Corps" fighting in Ukraine.
"Terrorists have put forward their demands. If they are willing to, as they say, release the prisoners for free, then why not take them? But how can we assume they are dead or not? What if they are alive? What if their mothers are at home, waiting for their return?" Prigozhin said.
"Someone must have the eggs. We have an egg problem in our country... The one going to retrieve the prisoners won’t pay them money, won’t cover the walls with gold, won’t give land or transfer weapons. They simply need to go and bring these guys back or die a hero. But in that case, the country must be ready to destroy everything around these terrorists," Prigozhin added.
