Video: 'The entire building's residents should not be held hostage by 1-2 people' - Avinyan

During a session of the city hall's executive committee, the issue concerning the emergency buildings on Artsakh Street was discussed. Deputy Mayor Gevorg Simonian reported that they met with the building's authorized representative on Friday.

“We have a problem with obtaining 100% consent and participation from the residents for the program. The final proposal is to continue discussions, provided we ensure 100% participation,” he stated.

Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan remarked, “The entire building's residents should not be held hostage by 1-2 people. I urge you to prepare a draft decision recognizing the priority interest.” Avinyan also reminded that residents of these buildings have been offered certificates for purchasing apartments at a limit of 402,000 drams per square meter, calculated based on the area exceeding their actual residence address.
