Video: Yerevan Opens First Free Urban Bicycle Parking
A free urban bicycle parking facility has opened in the underground parking lot of Yerevan's Republic Square. This information was announced by the Yerevan City Hall.
It was noted that World Bicycle Day was celebrated in the capital with a bicycle parade.
The parking facility can accommodate 200 bicycles at the same time.
World Bicycle Day was first celebrated on June 3, 2018, which was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in April 2018 (resolution 72/272). The document's co-authors include 56 countries.
