Video: Children Nearly Burned in Car While Mother Shoplifted in Store, USA

In Florida, the mother of two children has been charged for leaving her little ones in a car that caught fire while she shoplifted from a mall, reports the New York Post.

According to police, the incident took place in the parking lot of Oviedo Mall in Oviedo City. The 24-year-old woman left her car with her two children inside and headed to the store, only to discover upon her return that the vehicle was engulfed in flames.

Passersby managed to rescue the children from the burning car, with one of the boys requiring medical attention due to first-degree burns on his face.

It was revealed that the mother was shoplifting with a friend in the store. She has since been taken into custody, and the children have been placed in a social rehabilitation center. The American woman is being held in Seminole County jail, facing charges of petty theft and endangering her children.
