One of the Four Children Injured in the May 27 Car Accident Has Died Without Regaining Consciousness
One of the four children who sustained severe injuries in a tragic car accident in the Kotayk region has died without regaining consciousness, reports the "Saint Astvatsamayr" Medical Center.
The child was initially transferred to the "Saint Grigor Lusavorich" Medical Center after the accident, underwent surgery, and was subsequently moved to the "Saint Astvatsamayr" Medical Center. The child had suffered injuries to the brain, abdomen, and chest.
According to the information provided by "Saint Astvatsamayr," the child was unconscious, connected to a ventilator, and their heart function was maintained by medication while in a third-degree coma.
The other three injured individuals remain in the intensive care unit, with one showing positive dynamics, while the conditions of the other two remain extremely severe.
It should be noted that the tragic accident occurred on May 27, involving a collision between a "Volkswagen" and a "VAZ 2106" vehicle, resulting in the immediate death of the latter's driver, who was the father of one of the children. According to preliminary data, there were seven people in the "VAZ 2106." The children were traveling from Artashat to Garni to participate in wrestling competitions.
