Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman Establish Joint Naval Forces
Iran, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Oman have established joint naval forces. This was reported today, June 2, by the Qatari news outlet Al-Jadid.
According to the Qatari news website, consultations among these countries began under the coordination of China to ensure navigation security in the Persian Gulf. Earlier reports indicated that Iran proposed the creation of a collective security mechanism for the countries of the Persian Gulf.
