Video: One Victim Reported from Fire in Yerevan

A fire that broke out in an apartment on the 8th floor of a building on 35th Street in Nor Aresh, Yerevan, has resulted in the discovery of a body identified as L. Ch. (born in 1960). This information was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia's emergency service.

Three fire-fighting units from the Emergency Situations Department of Yerevan, a team from the Fire Suppression and Rescue Operations Division, one fire truck, and a gas protection service vehicle were dispatched to the scene.

Rescuers evacuated four citizens, who received medical assistance from the ambulance staff on site.

The fire was contained at 23:34 and extinguished at 00:13 on May 31. The apartment, along with its belongings, was burned.
