Mercedes Crashes into Parked ZIL Truck: One Fatality

Today, May 31, a major traffic accident occurred in the Aragatsotn province. Around 15:40, in the administrative area of Sasunik village, a Mercedes vehicle collided with a stationary ZIL truck under unclear circumstances, next to the 'Armenia Wine' factory.

This was reported by Shamshyan.com. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, two individuals were initially assisted by bystanders and employees of the mentioned factory, who were extricated from the vehicle. The medical staff of the ambulance brigade that arrived promptly transferred the injured to the 'Ashtarak' medical center after providing first aid at the scene.

It has been reported that one of the injured did not regain consciousness and has died. The police and investigative department are working to determine the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured.
