Russian Spy Whale Spotted Near Swedish Shores
A Russian beluga whale has been spotted off the south-western shores of Sweden. The whale was first discovered in Norway in 2019, equipped with cameras and a tag reading "Equipment Saint Petersburg 2019," according to The Guardian.
The whale is believed to be trained for following vessels. It is speculated that it may have escaped from a military training base.
According to the source, the whale is also very friendly towards humans, likely due to its training.
