VIDEO: 25-Year-Old's Car Contains 140 Packages of Drugs; He Has Been Arrested

Criminal investigators from the Kumayri Division of the Police received information regarding illegal drug trafficking on May 26. They arrested a 25-year-old man from Yerevan on Yerevan Highway in Gyumri and brought him to the Kumayri Division along with his vehicle.

According to law enforcement, he was placing drug packages in various neighborhoods of Gyumri. A search of the vehicle revealed 140 packages containing approximately 250 grams of psychoactive substances, namely shoko and methamphetamine, along with droppers and scales. The young man has been arrested, and circumstances are being clarified through the preliminary investigation.

Note: The person suspected or accused of the alleged crime is considered innocent until proven guilty by a court decision that has taken legal effect in accordance with the procedures established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
