VIDEO: Several People Hospitalized in Kosovo as Police Use Tear Gas

The Serbian Minister of Defense has confirmed that the army has been put on maximum combat readiness and has moved towards Kosovo.

According to local media reports, several people have been hospitalized due to clashes in North Mitrovica, where the police have used tear gas.

It was previously reported that new protests against the escalation in northern Kosovo and Metohija have taken place. Serbs living in the republic, which is partly recognized by the West and where their rights have been violated by local authorities, have taken to the streets and clashed with the police.
