In Tatev, City Council Members of the 'Civil Contract' Party Stripped of Mandates

In the Tatev community, members of the city council from the opposition 'Civil Contract' party have been stripped of their mandates at the initiative of the 'Living Country' faction due to unexcused absences from council meetings. This was reported by the 'Living Country' party.

"During the city council meeting held on May 18, as a result of voting by the members of the 'Living Country' and 'Shant Nationalist Alliance' factions, six members of the opposition 'Civil Contract' faction have been deprived of their mandates. The behavior of the opposition 'Civil Contract' party is unacceptable to the 'Living Country' party, and such manifestations are sometimes also observed in other communities we govern.

Any votes received from voters, including those from the opposition, should serve the community, and the involvement of opposition factions contributes to improving the efficiency of local governance and the development of the community.

We hope that the new members of the city council from the opposition 'Civil Contract' faction, who have already received their mandates, will treat the votes of the voters responsibly and quickly engage in community activities.
