Significant Violations of Sale Prices Recorded, Says Artsakh State Minister
After a visit to the Martakert region, directives have been issued for monitoring retail sales prices of goods in stores and holding accountable those who violate regulations. This was reported by Gurgen Nersisyan, the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, on his Facebook page.
“Responding to the concerns raised by citizens during the visit to the Martakert region on May 21, 2023, a consultation was held with the participation of heads of state bodies responsible for monitoring compliance with restrictions applied during the blockade of Artsakh and ensuring proper procedures for the circulation of goods. During this consultation, directives were issued to organize immediate community visits aimed at controlling retail sales prices of products.
Following the consultation, inspections were launched by the employees of the State Revenue and State Inspectorate Committees in the Martakert region, during which significant violations of retail sales prices were recorded in Martakert city, as well as in the Vank, Arajamadzor, and Kolatak communities, leading to the initiation of administrative proceedings. Community inspection visits are ongoing,” he wrote.
