168.am interviewed former Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Tigran Khachatryan:

– Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a press conference that discussions have taken place with General Staff representatives regarding the removal of the point concerning Tavush or enclaves from the November 9, 2020 declaration, to which the General Staff responded that they should sign regarding the enclaves. Allegedly, Pashinyan was against this and said he would not sign.

The discussion took place in Pashinyan's office, and according to him, the conversation was neither recorded nor taped. Who were those General Staff representatives; do you know?

– I don't know with whom he discussed it; I wasn’t there. I definitely wasn’t there. As for who else he may have discussed the issue of enclaves with, I can't say. But I have seen that in the Chief of General Staff's office at that time; it hadn't been discussed yet because after I presented my question, I spoke with the Minister of Defense, and as far as I know, the Chief of the General Staff also spoke with the Director of the NSS, to ensure that nothing like this happens regarding the enclaves.

– When was the last time you saw the issue of enclaves included in the November 9, 2020 trilateral declaration? In such cases, the date and time are important.

– I saw the preliminary version, which was published in the same way, but I didn't see the published version, as I was at my place of duty. I saw the written version, specifically regarding the point about Tavush, and the preliminary version of the trilateral declaration was published by RBC in the early hours of November 9, 2020, at 01:26 Moscow time, and
