Sister of Vardan Ghukasyan Detained

In the framework of a criminal investigation being conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee, Luna Ghukasyan, the sister of Vardan Ghukasyan, leader of the "Public Voice" party, has been detained. This information was disclosed to the media by the press secretary of the organization, Marina Ohanyan.

Luna Ghukasyan has been charged under part 4 of Article 441 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia for inciting abuse of official powers, which resulted in significant property damage.

In the same investigation, senior operative Hakob Ananyan of the Anti-Corruption Committee has also been charged and detained. He faces accusations under part 1 of Article 441 of the Criminal Code for abusing official powers.
