Video: The 'Aurus' Involved in Accident in Central Moscow Was Not Attached to Patriarch Kirill

The 'Aurus' belonging to Patriarch Kirill has been involved in an accident in central Moscow. We reported on this just hours ago. Initial information suggested that the crashed 'Aurus' vehicle was connected to Patriarch Kirill of All Russia. Accident footage has also been published; however, it has now been confirmed that the 'Aurus' involved in the accident was not attached to Patriarch Kirill, who was not present at the scene of the crash. This was reported by SHOT.

The Moscow Patriarchate has stated that at the time of the incident, the Patriarch was traveling in another vehicle to attend a service held at Christ the Savior Cathedral.

The driver of the Volvo that collided with the 'Aurus' noted that he did not see the Patriarch at the accident scene.
